Well-earned stability: work and reward have come together; the system is balanced. But every success is transient — this is a rest stop on the Path of Labour, not the final summit.
The image arranges the disks in the 'skeleton' of a Hexagram; at the centre blazes a bright rose of dawn, surrounded by three concentric rings: gold, rose and amber, the colours of Tiphareth fully realised on Earth. The planets are shown as disks emanating from the Sun at the centre; the Sun itself is a Rose and Cross with forty-nine petals. The form confirms mathematically what was laid down in the Ace.
✡️Skeleton of the Hexagram — harmony, a balanced system, the union of Sun and planets
🌹Dawn rose at the centre — Tiphareth fully realised on Earth; the centre of the Tree
🌝Moon in Taurus — the Moon exalted, fertilised by the Sun; temporary equilibrium
⚖️Sephira Tiphareth — the best of the element; success, but transient — a rest stop, not a goal
Interpretation
The Six of Disks corresponds to Tiphareth in the element of Earth and carries the title 'Success'. Tiphareth is the centre of the Tree, in direct communication with Kether; the four Sixes give the best that their elements have to offer in practical terms. In the Earth suit this is a card of stabilisation, very heavy and lacking in imagination, but faintly dreamy.
Upright this means achievement, material success, well-earned stability, the harmony of labour and reward. Affairs have come together, the system is balanced, the fruits can be gathered. A good sign for deals, payments, recognition, putting finances in order. But the card reminds us to keep success in perspective: the mass of earth will eventually pull the current downward.
The Moon is exalted in Taurus and, being the Moon of the Six, is fertilised by the energy of the Sun — a balanced system is created for a time. An important caveat: every success is transient; it is merely a brief pause on the Path of Labour, change will come soon. The counsel is to gather your strength, show tolerance and generosity, and hold the balance between giving and receiving.
The card is the earthly counterpart of the Six of Wands and the Six of Cups Six of Cups: all Tiphareth cards speak of the harmonious summit of their element. It restores what the Five of Disks Five of Disks ('Worry') destroyed, and foreshadows the decline of the Seven of Disks Seven of Disks ('Failure').

Advice & forecast
✦ The card's advice
Accept the fruits and distribute them: success has come by your merits, affairs have converged, the system is balanced — you can harvest. Show generosity and tolerance; hold the balance between giving and receiving; share what has been achieved with others and do not refuse effective help. But remember: this is a rest stop on the Path of Labour, not the summit — every success is transient, and the mass of earth will eventually pull the current down. Make use of the favourable combination of forces now, neither resting on your laurels nor expecting luck to hold itself in place.
🔮 What the forecast holds
Ahead lies achievement and stabilisation: material success, well-earned reward, the harmony of labour and outcome. A profitable deal, a payment, recognition, effective help from others, and a favourable encounter are all possible. The stars are favourable; luck is on your side. But this is a balanced system only for a time — after the harmonious summit, change will follow. Accept the fruits as a rest stop, not as the end of the journey, and do not let contentment dull your vigilance.
↓ Six of Disks reversed
Reversal is conditional. Here — success that is fragile or illusory: a show of stability without foundation, resting on laurels, success that is about to give way to a downturn. Sometimes — an unjust distribution (only the one on top gives), dependence on another's generosity, or an inability to hold what has been achieved. The shadow of 'not the right time': it is not the best moment to merely hope for success and wait for help from others — this card is about active mutual exchange, not passive waiting for a gift.

How it differs from Waite
Rider-Waite-SmithSix of Pentacles
vs
Thoth TarotSix of Disks
In Waite this is the Six of Pentacles — a merchant weighing out coins for beggars: an image of generosity, tolerance and the balance between giving and receiving. The Waite card stresses this human gesture of help (you help others or they help you). The Thoth Six of Disks shifts the emphasis to a favourable combination of forces and to luck itself — a healthy foundation for growth and success.
