This Subscription and Recurring (Repeating) Payments Offer (hereinafter the “Offer”) is an official proposal by the Provider to enter into a contract on the terms of an auto-renewing subscription, and governs the procedure for enrollment, payment, automatic charging, change of price, cancellation, and refund under the “Higher Arcanum” subscription in the Arcanika service (hereinafter the “Service”). The Offer supplements the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy; in matters not regulated by this Offer, their terms apply.
Provider: the Provider’s full registration details are provided at the end of this document.
Acceptance of the Offer: checking the box indicating agreement with the subscription terms and automatic charges in the subscription enrollment window, and the subsequent payment, mean full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Offer. From that moment, the subscription contract is deemed concluded.
1. Subject of the subscription
The “Higher Arcanum” subscription grants the User extended access to the Service’s functionality for the duration of the paid period: unlimited card deals and readings, an included monthly volume of interpretations, premium reading types, premium decks, extended Oracles, and atmospheric designs. The exact set of subscription features is specified on the pricing page and may be supplemented by the Provider without degrading the already paid-for scope of rights.
The subscription grants a simple (non-exclusive) license to use the extended functionality of the Service and is informational and entertainment in nature. Access is provided remotely and is activated automatically after the Provider receives payment confirmation from the payment provider.
2. Subscription terms: period and cost
The subscription is enrolled for one of the periods chosen by the User. The cost is stated in US dollars (USD) and includes all applicable taxes:
- Monthly subscription — $29.99 for a period of 30 (thirty) calendar days.
- Annual subscription — $249.99 for a period of 365 (three hundred sixty-five) calendar days.
Certain categories of Users (for example, during a welcome period after registration or as part of promotions) may be offered a reduced promotional price for the first period — it is displayed in the enrollment window before payment. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the terms of the promotion, subsequent automatic renewals are charged at the full (base) price of the corresponding period specified above.
The current cost and the length of the period are always displayed on the pricing page and in the subscription enrollment window before payment is confirmed. The price shown in the enrollment window is final for the current payment.
3. Procedure for automatic charging
The subscription is recurring (with automatic renewal). By enrolling in the subscription, the User gives the Provider and the payment provider advance acceptance for the periodic charging of the subscription cost to the bank card used at enrollment, without the need for additional confirmation of each payment.
- The first charge is made at the moment of subscription enrollment — for the amount shown in the enrollment window (taking into account the applicable promotional price, if one applies).
- Date of subsequent charges. Each subsequent charge is made on the day the paid period ends — that is, after 30 calendar days (for a monthly subscription) or after 365 calendar days (for an annual one) from the start of the current period. In this way the subscription is renewed for a new period of the same length.
- Time of charge. The charge is initiated automatically during the day on which the renewal date falls (typically in the first half of the day). The exact time within that day may change for technical reasons on the side of the Service or the payment provider.
- Amount of charge. Upon auto-renewal, the full (base) cost of the corresponding period in effect on the renewal date is charged, unless otherwise provided by the terms of the promotion under which the subscription was enrolled.
- Failed charge. If the charge fails (insufficient funds, expired card, bank decline), the Provider has the right to retry the attempt over the following several days. If payment cannot be obtained, auto-renewal stops and access to the subscription is suspended at the end of the paid period.
Charges are processed by the payment provider using stored payment credentials technology (recurring payments). Bank card data is stored on the provider’s side; the Provider neither receives nor stores the full card number or other protected credentials.
4. Ways to cancel the subscription
The User may at any time opt out of further automatic charges. Cancellation disables auto-renewal; at the same time, access to the subscription is retained until the end of the already-paid period — the paid term is not forfeited.
- In the Service’s personal account — on the subscription management page with a single click of the “Cancel subscription” button. This is the fastest method.
- Via the personal account of the payment provider, where you can revoke the recurring payment binding.
- Via support — by sending a request on the support page; we will disable auto-renewal upon your request.
After cancellation, no repeat charges are made. The subscription can be resumed at any time by enrolling in it again.
5. Refund procedure
Subscription access is provided in full immediately after payment and relates to intangible rights to which access is provided remotely. Refunds are governed by the terms of this Offer and the User Agreement.
- No refund is made for an already used (expired or actively used) subscription period.
- If an automatic charge for a new period has occurred but the new period has not yet begun to be used, the User has the right, within 14 calendar days from the date of such charge, to request a refund via the support page. The Provider issues a refund of the corresponding portion of the cost, less the portion of the period actually used. The refund is issued to the same bank card from which the payment was made, within 10 business days.
- In the event of a technical failure on the Service’s side (payment went through but access to the subscription was not actually provided), access is restored or the funds are refunded in full upon a request to support within 24 hours.
- To avoid an unwanted charge, we recommend canceling auto-renewal before the date of the next charge (see Section 4).
6. Terms of price change
The Provider has the right to change the subscription cost and the set of features included in it. In doing so:
- A change in cost does not affect the already-paid period — for its duration, the price at which the period was paid applies.
- The new cost applies starting from the next automatic renewal. The Provider notifies the User of the change in the auto-renewal price in advance — no later than a reasonable period before the date of the next charge, by the email address provided at registration and/or in the Service interface.
- If the new cost does not suit the User, they have the right to cancel the subscription before the date of the next charge (see Section 4) — in which case the charge at the new price is not made.
- Continued use of the subscription after the new cost takes effect means the User’s agreement with the changed price.
7. Payment provider and receipts
Acceptance of payments and recurring charges are carried out through the payment provider. Visa and MasterCard bank cards and other methods available from the provider are supported. Payment is made on the provider’s side in a secure mode. A payment receipt is sent to the User at the email address provided at payment.
8. Contacts and complaints
For matters concerning the subscription, automatic charges, cancellation, and refunds, contact the support page. The deadline for responding to complaints is no more than 10 business days.
